Individual  Therapy

Everyone has their own unique story and in therapy it is important for clients to work with someone they feel safe talking to and whom they can trust.  Through the individual therapy process my goal is to build a trusting and safe relationship with you so you feel comfortable talking through your life moments that have brought you stress, sadness or anger.

 

We will work together to develop treatment goals that fit your individualized struggles and work together to build your personal coping skills to manage your life stressors in a productive way. 

 

When working with children and adolescents I like to incorporate things they are interested in, into our sessions, both for engagement and as something they can relate to!  I use a lot of music and art therapy, as well as movement based therapy - kids and teens aren’t in it for the deep discussions, but incorporate a game or personal interest and suddenly we’re getting somewhere!
